At the helm of 27.2 Advisors stands Jimmy Kowalski, a visionary leader with deep roots in the lending business and an unwavering commitment to empowering individuals on their homeownership journey.

Jimmy’s career began in consumer finance, where dedication and expertise propelled a climb up the ranks before transitioning into home mortgages. With a rich history serving on both retail and wholesale sales and management sides for prestigious institutions like Citi, Travelers, Household International, and Bear Stearns, Jimmy has been at the forefront of industry evolution.

A notable tenure with Citi saw Jimmy traversing the nation to educate insurance agents and financial advisors on mortgage opportunities – fostering cross-selling skills that would benefit countless clients. This passion for education extended to teaching mortgage brokers how to effectively position and sell various mortgage products.

After a strategic hiatus into technology, Jimmy returned to the lending industry with renewed vigor – driven by a passion for making tangible differences in people’s lives. Currently serving as Vice President of Residential Home Lending at Precision Mortgage Corp., our leader embodies not just an executive role but that of a consultant and educator who prioritizes building trust-filled relationships over mere transactions.

In an era where adaptability is key, Jimmy’s career exemplifies pivot and resilience – qualities that are indispensable in today’s ever-changing mortgage landscape.

Beyond the boardroom, Jimmy is an avid runner, having completed 15 full marathons since 2012. In 2017, he founded a 501(c)(3) running organization consisting of hundreds of members where he served as President for three years. 

His love for family shines through – with two grown children and a cherished granddaughter. Life’s adventures are shared with his beautiful partner, Lizzy, as they golf, travel, and laugh together. And let’s not forget Sadie McSniffin, the Treeing Walker Coonhound Mix rescued in 2022 – perhaps it’s more accurate to say she rescued Jimmy.
